Lumi

I wanted to track my mood through the day: see the ups and downs and notice what lifts it. Every app I tried came with a long list of features, and I wanted something simple: record a voice note, get a summary of my day. I also wanted to see how animation works in an app built with AI.

You tap and tell Lumi, a little firefly, about your day. AI breaks the voice note down through a model of emotions I put together, shows the day's emotional mix and top themes, and writes a short summary.

I animated the character in Kling.ai, drew the screens in Figma and added motion in Figma Make. Claude helped me write prompts for the other tools, Cursor turned the design into code, Supabase stores the data, and Vercel puts the app online.

Getting an app built with AI to work is the easy part. Making it safe takes understanding the code, so I review the code itself before anything goes live.
