I collect new English words in a Notion table every month, and no app trained exactly those words. So I built one instead of waiting for the perfect product.

It pulls the words from Notion automatically and turns them into quizzes: a word, four translations to choose from, and pronunciation. Progress by category shows up as bubbles, and months work as filters.

I shaped the idea with Claude, drew the screens in Figma and built the app in Cursor. It picks up new words from my Notion table on its own.

I can meet a need of my own with a small app in one evening, and use the same speed to test ideas quickly.
